2006 UK Trip

In September 2006, we flew to Manchester then took the train across to York, where our 35 students took a two-week intensive English course taught by York University students. We also went on a day-trip to Castle Howard and the North York Moors Railway.

In the third and final week of our UK trip, we stayed in Cumbria, first at Ambleside Youth Hostel and then at the homes of British families. The students had the opportunity to visit local schools, where they taught Japanese language and culture.
